The last time I wrote a personal essay for This Recording was back in January. This latest essay is on a lot of things: sexual violence, romance novels, fantasies and expectations, and trying to find out what’s normal when it comes to love, romance, and the body. It was probably the most open thing I’ve ever written. Included images are by Xaviera Simmons, a favorite.
